No more safe havens of terrorists in Pakistan: Ahsan

Islamabad, Nov. 12 (TNS): Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal said that there are no more safe havens of terrorists in Pakistan, state media reported on Sunday.

In an interview, he said that Pakistan has paid a heavy price in the war against terrorism and its over six thousand security personnel have laid down their lives and more than seventy thousand people were either died or injured in terrorism-related incidents.

The Minister vowed to make Pakistan a peaceful country.

He said China and Pakistan are cooperating with each other in diverse fields including energy, investment, infrastructure and trade sectors.

To a question, the Minister said democracy has taken roots in Pakistan that is why the democratic process is well-entrenched in the country.
