KARACHI Nov 13 (TNS): A 12-year-old boy named Rehan was killed in alleged firing by police officials in Mominabad area of Orangi Town in Karachi.
The residents of the area staged a protest and surrounded the police station and also chanted slogans against police. They also demanded action against police officials involved in the incident.
SP Orangi took immediate action after the protest and apprehended four accused involved in the firing and also ordered to register a case against them. The officials arrested included Majid, Razzaq, Tahir and Farooqi.
On the other hand, two sisters Saima and Tasleema, were killed and a five-month-old boy Sabir was wounded in firing in a house situated in Machar Colony area of Maripur.
Family members of the deceased women have alleged that Saima’s husband was involved in the firing incident. Police have started investigation.
