PESHAWAR, Nov 16 (TNS): Counter Terrorism Department foiled a terror bid by arresting two terrorists and recovering explosives and grenade from their possession during an operation in suburban Khazana area here on Thursday.
According to CTD sources, during an action on intelligence based information CTD personnel
arrested two terrorists and recovered five kilogram of explosives and a hand grenade from their possession.
Later the Bomb disposal Squad defused the hand grenade.
CTD officials said that the arrested terrorists are affiliated with a banned outfit. The arrested suspects were hauled to undisclosed place for further investigations.
