Rawalpindi, Nov. 17 (TNS): For leveling allegations on Gandapur for molesting a woman in Dera Ismail Khan, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday issued a notice to its MNA, Dawar Khan Kundi.

In a statement issued by the party, PTI slapped the notice to Kundi after receiving complaints of violating party discipline against him.

“Dawar Kundi has not been expelled from the party,” PTI Central Information Secretary Shafqat Mehmood said in a statement.

“He has been issued a notice to provide an explanation in response to the complaints,” he added.

“The party has a procedure for the inclusion of members and expelling them.”

Mehmood said if Kundi was found guilty of violating party discipline, action would be taken against him as per rules.

“A person can be expelled from the party if found involved in a serious violation,” he maintained.

A few days ago, Kundi demanded the removal of PTI Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for allegedly providing ‘logistic and physical support to the criminals’ involved in parading an orphan girl naked in Dera Ismail Khan.
