Islamabad, Nov. 17 (TNS): Pakistan on Friday strongly condemned the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forces in Chirikot and Nezapir sectors.
At least 2 civilians were killed and five injuries in Friday incident.
The Indian Deputy High Commissioner J.P. Singh was summoned to Foreign Office to lodge the protest.
The Foreign Office said that Indian forces have carried out more than 1300 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary this year which resulted in the shahadats of 52 innocent civilians and injuries to 170 others.
Pakistan also urged the Indian side to respect the 2003 Ceasefire arrangement, investigate this and other incidents of ceasefire violations.
