Pakistan, UK discuss ways to boost bilateral ties

LAHORE Nov 23 (TNS): UK High Commissioner in Pakistan Thomas Drew called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore.

They discussed matters of mutual interest and ways to boost bilateral cooperation in various sectors.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister appreciated UK’s cooperation for the progress of education, health and skill development sectors in Punjab. He said Pak-UK partnership for progress and prosperity will continue in future as well.

The British High Commissioner said cooperation with Punjab Government in education, health, skill development and other social sectors will be boosted.
