Rawalpindi, November 29 (TNS): The constituency within the area of NA-56 of National Assembly and PP-13 of the provincial assembly, Union Council No. 42 Millat Colony, is a densely populated Union Council of Rawalpindi.

TNS team visited the backward areas of the Council and found that much work has been done to solve the problems but people and municipal representatives seem to blame institutions.

They are happy for the availability of funds for clean drinking water and development works here, they say that Metro Bus Service, Guinea Hospital, and Urology Hospital are the major gifts from Chief Minister of Punjab for the people of Rawalpindi.

Describing their views with the TNS team, the locals say that the performance of CM Punjab and municipal representatives is good but there are still much difficulties in solving the problems due to the unavailability of staff in Tehsil Municipal Corporation, Rawalpindi Development Authority and other Departments.

Vice Chairman of Union Council 42 says that the issue of sewage is major one in this area, due to which water enters inside houses in the rain days,

People of Rawalpindi are satisfied with the performance of CM Punjab and municipal representatives, but they say that disqualified officers posted in the institutions are the biggest obstacles to the problems against which action is very important.
