SRINAGAR Dec 02 (TNS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly condemned the continued house arrest of its Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani.

An APHC spokesman in a statement in Srinagar said that the puppet authorities prevented Syed Ali Gilani from offering Juma prayers even on the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).

He said the puppet Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, has so far adopted the same policies against the APHC Chairman which Omar Abdullah had followed and he continues to remain under house detention without any legal or constitutional justification.

He appealed to the international community to take serious note of the illegal house detention of the APHC Chairman.

Meanwhile, the spokesman demanded immediate and unconditional release of all illegally detained Kashmiris languishing in different jails.
