All arrangements have been finalized and the venue has been decorated with party flags and posters. As many as 25,000 chairs have been placed at the venue of the public meeting. A separate enclosure has also been set up for women.

The capital city administration has inspected all security arrangements for the event by late night, besides deploying police personnel at and around the venue.

Political pundits are of the opinion that the foundation day gathering will determine the party’s popularity as well as its fortunes in the upcoming elections in Punjab.

It will be PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s first ever public event in Islamabad and the party activists are expecting a massive crowd to be addressed by the party’s leader.

The public meeting is expected to begin at 2:00 pm in the afternoon.

Arriving at venue on Monday, opposition leader in National Assembly Khursheed Shah said that the party would fulfill the dream of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
