Sharif, Zardari, Imran lack capacity to lead country, says Gulalai

LAHORE Dec 05 (TNS): Estranged Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) MNA Ayesha Gulalai says ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif, PPP co-chairperson Asif Zardari and PTI chief Imran Khan are not capable of leading the country out of current crisis.

Addressing a presser at Lahore Press Club, she said the current government should resign and a national government of talented people from across political and social divide be installed to find a solution to the problems facing the country.

She announced to contest next election against PTI chief Imran Khan and clarified she did not desire any party’s ticket.

Gulalai said she will announce her future line of action in the coming days.

She called for a legislation to get rid of sit-in politics.

The woman MNA stressed the need for bring reforms in electoral system, playing down the demand for snap elections.

Touching upon current affairs, she said people were committing suicides because of poverty and unemployment.

She lauded the role of the army in bringing a peaceful end to the sit-in. Instead of lauding their services, some people were berating the army chief, she added.
