MUMBAI, Dec 06 (TNS): If speculations commencing from Indian media are to be relied the big news for billions of cricket and Bollywood fans is that India’s present cricketing idol Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma are said to be tying the knot in Italy this December 11.
According to speculation, helped to spread by India’s main stream media the two plan to start wedding festivities from December 9 leading up to the big wedding day.
It seems that love is in the air for sure this winter season for Indian cricketers. It won’t be wrong to say that the impetus might have come from the couple in the limelight, Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatgae, who tied the knot in Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Palace on November 23.
Before fans could rejoice at the wedding news, Anushka’s spokesperson turned down the speculation. He said that the reports of her wedding are ‘untrue’.
Meanwhile, Indian journalist Vikrant Gupta, not ready to absorb the denial of Anushka”s spokesperson, has said that very close friends of Anushka Sharma from Bollywood such as Karan Johar are likely to attend the wedding.
Although not many details are present on the matter, the couple will invite a very limited gathering of friends and family, said Vikrant.
Despite being a limited gathering, the festivities will not be lackluster in any way, the Indian journalist added.
He said once the couple is back from Italy, the two will go to Mumbai to throw a big reception.
Earlier in October, fans had speculated that Kohli was preparing for a winter wedding with Anushka.
