Islamabad, Dec 06 (TNS): Threatening that Pakistan Peopl’s Party too would tread the path of PTI, PAT and other political and religious parties and groups by resorting to sit ins, Qamr uz Zaman Kaira on Wednesday has lashed out at Govt by blaming it for trying hard to make PPP’s 50th foundation day rally in Islamabad a failure.
Speaking at National Press Club Islamabad Kaira, while claiming that the rally was a big success and above the level what we and our opponents had expected, said that deliberate attempts were made to get the traffic jammed at Rawat and Coral Chowk on Lahore Pindi General Transport Road to stop PPP workers to reach the venue.
Kaira has warned that in case Gov’t d has not shun its negative approach his party w’d find itself forced to stage protest sit ins.
People’s party has been a power of yesteryears and will continue to be same and will not allow politics and religion to go together.
Commenting on baqir Najafi Report, Qamar uz Zaman has said that since it was the same Shahbaz Sharif’s Govt which established the commission to investigate model town killings, it should not be reluctant now to follow what has been directed in the report.
