The new Military Accountant General Dr. Waheed Ahmad, now the patron-in-chief of this housing scheme restarted this fake housing scheme in collusion with real estate dealer and some guys from the Lahore chapter of military accounts employees association. The bank account of this scheme A/C No. 0270420000079 (Askari Commercial Bank, Z Bloc, DHA Branch) which was frozen in 2016 was got reopened in June 2017 under the auspices of the head of the department and the amount was transferred to another account and order was also given to open a new account.
The question here arises who gave the orders to unfreeze this scheme’s A/C No. 0270420000079 (Askari Commercial Bank, Z Bloc, DHA Branch) and under which law and rules and regulations the M/s Raj Developers was allowed to open a new account and transfer the money.
The LDA that issues NOC for housing schemes declared Military Accounts Employees Housing Scheme illegal and unlawful through its newspapers’ advertisements. How it is even after the passage of one month no order has been issued to stop work on this scheme.
ISLAMABAD Dec 07 (TNS): An immediate probe has been launched by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Ministry of Defense and Auditor General of Pakistan into the Military Accounts Employees Housing Scheme launched by former Military Accountant General in collaboration with real estate dealer and some guys from the Lahore chapter of military accounts employees association,” sources told.
Under the cover of above-mentioned illegally orchestrated housing scheme, unaware citizens were robbed of millions of rupees.
According to the Government Servant Conduct Rules 1964 neither the government employee is permitted to launch such project himself nor can allow others to do so. It was in sheer violation of the said rules.
In the year 2016 Military Accounts Employees Housing Scheme was declared illegal and fake by former Military Accountant General Farhad Khan and was stopped by him. He also got the bank account of this scheme A/C No. 0270420000079 (Askari Commercial Bank, Z Bloc, DHA Branch) frozen and this fact was advertised in the national newspapers that this housing scheme is an absolute fraud and the department has no link with it.
The department in its letter 5th October 2017 sent to Ministry of Defense stated that Military Accounts Employees Housing Scheme does not exist at all.
How it is the fake housing scheme called Military Accounts Employees Housing Scheme which had nothing to do with the department and was allowed to restart as under the Government Servant Conduct Rules 1964 neither the government employee is permitted to launch such project himself nor can allow others to do so.
The departmental inquiry had recommended lodging an FIR against the accused and to refer the case to NAB and FIA but no action was taken in this regard.
