ISLAMABAD, Dec 07 (TNS): London Mayor Sadiq Khan spent a busy day in federal capital Islamabad on Thursday where he met Prime Minister, federal ministers including Khawaja Asif, Pervez Malik and others.
Mayor Sadiq Khan said that London will welcome people of Pakistan for education, business and tourism.
“We will also welcome bilateral trade and will continue to support Pakistan”, he further said.
Khan also thanked all the Pakistanis for their warm welcome and hospitality.
Federal Minister Pervaiz Malik, on occasion, said that Pakistan is one of the best country for investment;
“We will welcome British investment in energy and infrastructure sectors”, the minister added.
Parvez Malik said that the visit of Mayor of London is extremely important, saying that such visits will improve the relations between the two countries.
