Islamabad, Dec. 10 (TNS): At least three people were killed when two groups clashed and exchanged gunfire over the issue of stealing goats from a farming field near Secretariat Police Station area, outskirts of Islamabad on Sunday.
According to police officials, a married couple was also among the deceased who were taken to Polyclinic Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Members of one group had allegedly stolen the goats of another group.
An injured suspect, identified as Zeesahn, was arrested from the scene, police officials said.
Bodies of Alam Khan and his wife were found in a vehicle. The third victim, belonging to the rival group, was identified as Miskeen.
A case has been registered and further investigation is under way.
