Karachi, Dec. 15 (TNS): Forces on Friday arrested Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Shahid Pasha, yet again.
MQM-P’s coordination committee member was taken into custody along with his driver while he was travelling in his car on the National Stadium road in Karachi.
He was on his way home from the MQM-P office in Bahadurabad when he was stopped by security agencies.
Pasha and his driver have been shifted to an unknown place.
The MQM-P leader was earlier released from Karachi Central Jail in July after an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) granted him bail in two cases pertaining to an incendiary speech delivered by his party founder Altaf Hussain in August last year.
Pasha and other party leaders were booked at Artillery Maidan police station for allegedly facilitating the arrangement of Hussain’s controversial speech on August 22, 2016, and praising its content.
