Mianwali, Dec. 17 (TNS): As amay as 390 suspects were arrested and huge cache of weapons seized during search operation in Mianwali region, officials say here on Sunday.
Local police and other law enforcement agencies jointly conducted the operation throughout the district.
The 600 personnel of the District Police and the Elite Force participated in the search operation.
For this operation, District Police formed 19 teams while 11 teams of Elite Force have participated in the operation.
During the operation, forces searched all educational and religious schools, Pashtun and Afghan migrants’ slums and checked their documents.
According to officials, during the search operation, huge cache of arms, drugs and liquor recovered.
