Rajsamand/Udaipur 18 (TNS): Nearly a dozen policemen including a senior official were injured when hundreds of activists, allegedly belonging to right-wing Hindu outfits, pelted stones at security personnel in Udaipur.
The clash between protesters and police took place near Court Circle in Udaipur. Activists had gathered at the spot, defying prohibitory orders in Udaipur and Rajsamand.
Hindu killer, Shambhu Lal hacked 45-year-old Mohammad Afrajul to death, set his body on fire, and got his 13-year-old nephew to record the entire sequence on video.
Regar is in custody over the killing of 50-year-old Afrazul Islam last week and making a video clip of the murder. The two adjacent districts are bristling with tension since the killing.
