A seminar on road safety organized at Adiala Jail

Rawalpindi, Dec. 18 (TNS): The Adiala Jail administration is endeavouring to transform the prison into a reform centre for betterment of prisoners as well as staff.

In this regard a seminar was arranged collaboration with Inspector General national Highways and Motorways Police.

The purpose of seminar was to give grounding in road safety and traffic roles to prisoners and staff of the central jail.

Motorway Road Safety Unit’s senior patrol officer Sohail Ahmed and PRO Station Manager Mehmood Ali Khokhar delivered informative lectures about road safety, traffic roles, traffic signs and driving on Motorways.

The seminar was attended by staff as well as prisoners in large numbers.

Multi-media, slides and panaflex were used to provide road safety information to inmates and cops.

Prisoners were asked questions about traffic roles and signs and those inmates were rewarded cash who gave correct answers.

Superintendent Jail‎ Saeed Ullah Gondal, Deputy Superintendent Farukh Rasheed, Deputy Superintendent Shahzad Bukhari and other top officials also attended the seminar.
