Action demanded against characters of medical admissions scam bid

KARACHI Dec 20 (TNS): Pasban-e-Pakistan President Altaf Shakoor has demanded action against the culprits of a dark scam of fake admissions in medical colleges in Sindh province that was thwarted due to laudable role of judiciary and demanded foolproof steps so that such conspiracies are not hatched in future.

In a statement, he said now the lists of admissions of meritorious students have already been displayed and we congratulate the successful candidates and their parents.

He said it was a marathon struggle against injustice. He said some anti-education elements had hatched this dark conspiracy in convince  with black sheep in health department and a hidden role of some parliamentarians so that get selected their favorite candidates at the cost of merit.

However, the struggle of students, their parents and pro-education circles this conspiracy was hatched. He said commercialization of education would not be accepted and there should be one standard of education for all classes, based on uphold of merit.

Altaf Shakoor said Pasban has always fought for the rights of masses and uphold of justice and it would continue to do so in future.

He said we congratulate the students and parents on start of new educational year. He demanded of the government to try those behind this conspiracy under ATC laws as this was terrorism against education and rule of merit.  He lauded the verdict of the Sindh High Court which saved a precious educational year of students. He demanded a proper mechanism to end bungling in results of educational boards and admissions in professional colleges and universities.
