CPEC to be completed by 2030: FO

ISLAMABAD Dec 21 (TNS): Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal says decision to bring more projects and highways under the framework of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would be taken by the two countries with consensus.

Speaking at the weekly news briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, he said CPEC would be completed by 2030.

To a question, he said visas have been issued to the wife and mother of the convicted RAW agent Kulbhushan Jadhav and their meeting would take place in Islamabad.

Responding to another question, he said big swathes of territories not under control of the Afghan Government are being used for terrorism and Pakistan has conveyed its reservations to Afghanistan in this regard.
