Karachi, Dec. 22 (TNS): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi meets senior management of various private banks at Karachi.
Miftah Ismail SAPM, Ali Jehangir Siddiqui SAPM and Governor State Bank were also present.
Senior Management of private banks lauded the role of government in implementing fiscal policies that have resulted in economic growth and flow of investment in Pakistan.
The Prime Minister stated the government is always open to suggestions from banking sector for positive reforms in niche markets including agricultural banking, housing and SMEs.
The PM urged the banking sector to finance renewable energy projects in order to improve the energy mix.
The PM stated that government will provide full support for enhancing women entrepreneurship.
