ITP releases its annual performance report 2017, over 90 mn received as fines

ISLAMABAD, Dec 23 (TNS): The Traffic Police of Capital City has deposited Rs.93 553 000 in National Exchequer during 2017 in shape of fines received from the people who violated traffic laws.

According to the annual performance report issued by ITP the details of fines received is as under:-

Rs.7474200 received for using mobile phone during the driving.

Rs.20474100 received from lane violators and Rs.3101200 from the commuters who didn’t care get registration numbers for their vehicles after the expiry of the period of applied for.

The amount of Rs.8147400 and Rs.35 47200 respectively was received as a fine from those who put on fancy/improper number plates and black films on their vehicles.

Rs.13030000 received from motorcyclists for not wearing all important helmets.

The amount of 13683000, 11560500 and 371000 has been received for wrong parking, signal breaching and over speeding respectively.
