Anil Kapoor celebrates birthday with Salman Khan on sets of their Race 3 movie

NEW DELHI Dec 27 (TNS): Anil Kapoor and Salman Khan will rock the theatres when they’ll come together on the big screen for Race 3. The shooting for the film has already begun and the duo is seemingly having loads of fun together.

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor celebrated his 61st birthday with Salman Khan on the sets of their upcoming movie, Race 3. The duo celebrated each other’s birthdays while Anil’s birthday was on Dec. 24, Salman’s birthday is on Dec. 27.

Salman is a new addition to the Race franchise.

“Who says an on-set birthday has to be boring? My birthday was made extra special by Salman Khan and Tips team. Thank you all for your love and wishes,” Anil, whose birthday was on December 24, tweeted on Tuesday. He also put up a photo of him feeding a piece of cake to Salman.

Anil’s hard work was praised by his friend Satish Kaushik in a tweet. “Kapoor saheb shooting even on your birthday…that is the passion you have for your craft,” Kaushik tweeted on December 24. “Must be the best birthday because you started a new film on this auspicious day.”

Anil and Salman share good work chemistry as the two have featured together in films such as Biwi No 1, No Entry, Yuvraaj and Salam-e-Ishaq.

The Race 3 team also presented Salman, whose birthday is on December 27, with a gift of a Being Human t-shirt with wishes penned on it by them.

Salman will be shooting for a six-day-long schedule for the film over the Christmas week. A pivotal action sequence is being shot in Mumbai, where Salman will be performing stylised action.

Directed by Remo D’Souza, Race 3 will also star Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem, Daisy Shah and Freddy Daruwala. The movie is expected to hit the screens on Eid next year.
