Srinagar, Dec. 28 (TNS): Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has expressed serious concern over the prevailing horrendous situation in Occupied Kashmir.
In a statement in Srinagar, he warned that India’s unending state-sponsored terrorism, arrests, intimidations and killings in the occupied valley would further deteriorate the situation.
Syed Ali Gilani said the unresolved Kashmir dispute is the root cause of tension in South Asia that must be resolved in its historical perspective, to save the region from horrors and devastation.
Meanwhile, complete shutdown was observed in Pulwama district on the second consecutive day, today, against the martyrdom of Noor Mohammed Tantray by Indian troops.
All shops and other business establishments remained closed while traffic was off the roads.
People from different areas continued to throng the residence of martyr, Tantray in Aripal area to express solidarity with the bereaved family.
Tantray was martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in Samboora area of Pulwama district yesterday.
