ISLAMABAD Dec 28 (NNI): Dec 29 (TNS): A petition has been filed against PMLN leader Daniyal Aziz for instigating malicious and humiliating campaign against five-member bench of Supreme Court in Panama Case.
According to the details issued by PTI’s Central Media Department the petition has been filed by a citizen of Narowal District Punjab Nadeem Nisar against Daniyal Aziz seeking court’s action under article 204 of constitution and also pleaded the court to take action under the Contempt of Court Ordinance 2003.
The petition read that Daniyal Aziz blatantly disregarded his oath and involved in malicious campaign against judiciary. It further stated that his hateful and venomous speech against judiciary in the presence of former disqualified PM Nawaz Sharif is available on social media.
Daniyal Aziz, Nadeem Nisar stated, particularly tried to scandalize a judge of Panama Bench.
Through this hateful campaign Daniyal Aziz conspired to influence various pending cases in the apex court. The petitioner prayed the court to take strict action against Daniyal Aziz under the Contempt of court Act and also prayed to direct the relevant state functionaries not to air and publish speeches of Daniyal Aziz containing hatred, ridicule and contemptuous content.
