Male staff will not check female patients, PIMS management informs NA Body

ISLAMABAD Dec 29 (TNS): Meeting of the Standing Committee on Government Assurances was held under the Chairmanship of Mr. Abdul Majeed Khan KhananKhail, MNA in Committee Room of old PIPS Hall, Parliament Lodges, Islamabad.

PIMS administration informed that as per order of the Committee the Hospital staff took notice and legal actions and the guy is in prison, who did an immoral activity in the ICU of PIMS Islamabad.

Hospital Management also ordered that male staff would not check the female patients in future, similarly PIMS has installed cameras and BIO matric system for checking the staff activities.

It was informed to the Committee that dropout rate has been reduced in Government Schools, Islamabad. The government schools of Islamabad are being upgraded. Two hundred schools are being furnished and more than two hundred schools will be upgraded in near future.

It was informed that in rural areas new schools would also be constructed. The Committee was informed that the educational standard in Islamabad is better than all other provinces. Minister of State for Health briefed the Committee about medical stores and laboratories. The Committee constituted a Sub-Committee to monitor the issue of the delay is the construction of the bridge. The Sub-Committee consists upon Shahzadi Umerzadi Tiwana, MNA, Malik Ibrar Ahmed, MNA and Ch. Muhammad MunirAzhar, MNA.

The meeting was attended by Ms. ShahzadiUmerzadiTiwana, Member, Chaudhry Muhammad MunirAzhar, Member, Malik Ibrar Ahmed, Member, Abdul Hakeem Baloch, Member, Moulana Muhammad Khan Sherani, Member, Dr. ShezraMansab Ali Kharal, Mover and Ms. Saira Afzal Tarar, Minister for National Healthand severalsenior civil officials were also present in the meeting.
