ISLAMABAD, Dec 30 (TNS): Member of National Assembly (NA) Ayesha Gulalai on Friday met Pakistan Tehreeke-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Seema Anwar.
Sources told that Gulalai asked for the list of angry PTI female members from Seema Anwar and offered to join her new party which Seema turned down politely, saying that she is receiving much respect in PTI.
On a question related to the name of the party, Ayesha said that she has decided to give Tehreek-e-Insaf Gulalai name to her new party.
Do you think I can get ticket on special seat? asked Seema Anwar which Gulalai responded that investors and rich leaders get that seat. “I know Imran Khan very well, don’t live on fake hopes,” she told Seema.
Earlier, Gulalai said that the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) of PTI has failed to deliver and provide security to the residents.
She criticised PTI and accused it of spreading nepotism and corruption in the province. “The family of KP CM (Pervez Khattak) has left everyone behind in corruption … Jahangir Tareen is a businessman, not a politician,” she told.
Reacting to the announcement of Gulalai regarding new party, PTI spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry said that the Election Commission of Pakistan should take notice of the call and de-seat her from the National Assembly.
