PESHAWAR Dec 30, (TNS): Maulana Fazl ur Rehman, the patron of Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI-F), has demanded the separate province for the Federally Administrative Tirbal Areas (FATA) and opposed its merger with Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (KP) province.

“The Tribal people always fought for their freedom and separate identification, therefore a separate province must be created for tribal people like Gilgit-Biltistan,” JUI-F head said while addressing to a big rally of tribal people in Peshawar.

The rally culminated from tribal areas and will end in Islamabad aimed to press government for separate province for FATA.

At the rally’s brief stay in Peshawar, Mualan Fazal said that he has not only concrete arguments against the merger of FATA-KP but also he would ready to hold talks over the issues.

The rally in Peshawar was also attended by the JUI-F workers and local leadership, Pukhtun Khawa Milli Awami Party and tribal elders while the leader of Tehreek-e-Soba Hazara Baba Haider was also present.
