GILGIT Dec 31 (TNS): Project Director Chief Minister Health Insurance scheme Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Ishtiaq Hussain says twenty five thousand Health Cards will be issued to deserving families in next year.
In an interview, he said in the first phase over five thousand five hundred cards were distributed in Gilgit and over thirty five thousand persons got free treatment facility.
He said in the second phase the scheme would be launched in Ghizer, Ghanche, Hunza and Nagar for which an amount of three hundred million rupees has been allocated.
He said German Government department KFW agreed to provide financial assistance for the second phase.
