RAWALPINDI Jan 02 (TNS): In a strong worded reaction to earlier US accusations, the Pakistan Army spokesman, Major General Asif Ghafoor has asserted that the aid Pakistan received from Washington was “reimbursement for support Islamabad gave to the coalition for its fight against Al Qaeda.”
During a media briefing, he emphasized that had Pakistan not supported the US and Afghanistan, they would never have been able to defeat Al Qaeda.
