10 injured in suspected suicide blast in Quetta

Quetta, Jan. 2 (TNS): As many as 10 Frontier Corps (FC) soldiers were injured in an apparently suicide blast in Quetta Tuesday evening.

According to officials, an FC check post in the city’s Baleli area was targeted by terrorists.

Officials said intense gunfire was witnessed following the blast which believed was a suicide attack.

Two attackers were killed in retaliate action of forces.

Security forces surrounded the area and rescue teams shifted injured to CMH, Quetta.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaulluah Zehri condemned the attack, and directed the authorities to arrest the attackers at the earliest.
