Sarfraz Bugti decides to step down

Quetta, Jan. 2 (TNS): Sarfraz Bugti has decided to step down from his post as Home Minister Balochistan, local media quoting sources reported on Tuesday.

According to reports, the provincial home minister will forward his resignation to Chief Minister Balochistan Sanaullah Zehri.

Although Bugti has not revealed the reasons behind the resignation so far but sources said that he took the decision due to certain inevitable issues.

Meanwhile, Balochistan Minister of Fisheries Mir Chakar Dhomki also sent his resignation to Chief Minister Zehri.

The development in the political landscape came after 14 provincial lawmakers decided to take measure against Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri.

Earlier today, provincial lawmakers submitted a no-confidence motion against the chief minister of the province.

The motion, which was submitted by Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and Syed Agha Raza, was signed by a total of 14 parliamentarians.
