Mardan, Jan. 4 (TNS): After nine months, KP police finally arrested main suspect in the Mashal Khan murder case, district top police official says here on Thursday.
Mardan District Police Officer (DPO) Mian Saeed confirmed that Izhar alias Johnny was arrested from Saddar area of Mardan on an intelligence information.
He added that a Kalashnikov, a Kalakov and a pistol were also recovered from suspect’s possession.
The DPO said that a total of 58 suspects are in custody whereas three are still absconding. He assured that the remaining suspects will also be arrested soon.
