Islamabad, Jan. 4 (TNS): Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousuf says his Ministry is observing this year as ‘Khatm-e-Nubuwwat’ year, state media reported.
He was addressing a seminar titled ‘completion of system of revelation’ in Islamabad on Thursday.
Sardar Yousuf said the holy book of Quran and Hadith are the only way of guidance for Muslim Ummah and the Muslims can fulfill their responsibilities by following guidelines of these two sources.
He said the belief of finality of prophethood maintains basic status of faith for a Muslim.
Religious Scholar Professor Dr. Tahir Mehmood highlighted the importance and need of the revelation in light of Quranic and Hadith references.
