BEIJING Jan 05 (TNS):  Chinese experts have warned that a road construction project by India, connecting all its border posts along frontier with China, can lead to a new military standoff between the two countries.

Head of the Institute for South and Central Asian Studies at the Shanghai Municipal Center for International Studies, Wang Dehua, told the Global Times that India is clearly preparing for war.

A researcher at the Chinese Association for South Asian Studies, Qian Feng, said the road infrastructure would surely enhance Indian border force maneuverability, but also increase the possibility of confrontations between patrols of the two countries.
