Islamabad, Jan. 5 (TNS): Pakistan Peoples Party Senior Leader and Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Interior Senator Rehman Malik on friday paid glowing tributes to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on his 90th birthday observed on Friday.
Speaking to a ceremony in connection with the occasion here at Benazir House E-11, the former interior minister said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was the tallest icon on the political landscape of democratic Pakistan who bravely challenged dictators and their mentors simultaneously.
He said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was a great source of inspiration and encouragement for the oppressed, marginalized and deprived people of the country.
“Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto glittered minds and hearts of these people with hope and brought them into mainstream through empowering them with democratic rights,” Malik added.
