Islamabad, Jan. 6 (TNS): Supreme Court of Pakistan on Saturday decided to take up the plea application against acquittal of Shahzeb Khan murderers.
Ten civil society’s representatives had moved petition in the apex court against Sindh High Court (SHC) order which set aside the convictions and sentences of Shahrukh Jatoi and others in the said murder case.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar has ordered immediate transfer of said petition from Supreme Court Branch Registry Karachi to Principal Seat Islamabad and to fix the matter for hearing.
It was stated in the petition that incident of gruesome murder resulted in striking terror which created fear and insecurity in general public.
