QUETTA, Jan 07 (TNS): Terrorists, in a bit to get their accomplices released resorted to heavy firing on a police mobile squad resulting in the death of two in effective and timely response here on Sunday.
Police, while giving details about the incident has said that in Nawa Killi area they were attempting to arrest the accomplices of an arrested suspect, who, himself, was in the vehicle with the authorities in order to help in identification.
But the suspect’s accomplices opened fire in a bid to help their detained friend escape. In the resulting exchange, one of the attackers, as well as the under-arrest suspect, were killed.
Arms and ammunitions were also recovered for the killed terrorists.
