PM Abbasi, Governor Balochistan, ministers, political leaders condemn Quetta blast

ISLAMABAD, Jan 09 (TNS): The Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai and other ministers and political leaders have condemned the blast near Balochistan assembly and expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives.

At least seven persons including five police personnel were killed and 17 wounded in blast near Balochistan assembly on Tuesday.

In a statement issued PM Abbasi and president Mamnoon Hussain condemning the blast directed termed the incident inhuman, while governor Balochistan directed the concern authorities to provide best available medical facilities to the injured.Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq, CM Punjab Shehbaz Sharif, head of Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto and co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and other political leaders condemning he blast expressed deep regret over the loss of precious and prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls.At least seven persons, including four police personnel, were martyred and 16 others injured on Tuesday when a power explosion rocked Quetta’s Zarghoon road near the Balochistan Assembly building.

Sources said security personnel were on their way back upon completion of routine duty when the explosion took place. The blast also damaged a public bus nearby.

The rescue teams and security forces have reached the the blast scene, while security forces have cordoned off the area.
