Body of 12yr old boy recovered from field in Kasur

KASUR, Jan 11 (TNS):  Kasur hits the headlines again with the news of a a 12-year-old boy apparently killed and body thrown in agrarian piece of land near Dholan Chak 27 village after he had gone missing two days ago.

Student of class-six named Sharaaq had gone missing earlier this week and body of the boy was recovered from the fields.

Only son of Munawar Hussain, bed-ridden for five years owing to paralysis was reported missing after he went out of his house at 06:00pm and preliminary investigation suggest that he was strangled to death. Bereaved family of late Sharaaq has claimed that he was sexually assaulted before he was murdered.

The body was recovered a day after body of a seven-year-old minor girl was recovered in a heap of trash in Kasur, adjoining metropolis Lahore, sparking countrywide outrage against the government and the law enforcers.

Minor named Zainab was killed after she was raped. Punjab chief minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif has assured that the criminal would be caught within 24 hours. However, locals in Kasur have clashed with police numerous times since yesterday with some sustaining injuries as police resorted to force to disperse the demonstrations.
