GUJJAR KHAN, Jan 14 (TNS): Jatli Police Station of Teh. Gujjar Khan managed to solve a double murder case in 23 days by arresting three accused involved in the killings.
Zainab Bibi 50 and her daughter Natasha Fayyaz, a school teacher, was found dead in a pool of blood on 20th December 2017 at their home in village Mastala some seven kilo meters from concerned police station .
A Police team, on the compliant of Noor Hussain the son in law of Zainab Bibi, headed by ASI Muhammad Sharif along with ASI Muhammad Ashraf, Head Constable Shamraiz Masood, Constable Imtiaz Ahmad, Lady Constable Sehrish and Driver Constable Irfan was rushed to the spot which took the bodies and handed over to the relatives after performing the legal formalities.
With the special attention and professional approach by police led by SHO Sunaullah, investigations led it to the perpetrators.
On Friday 12 Jan police managed to arrest the culprits who have been identified as Adnan Parvaiz and Anjum Parvaiz sons of Parvaiz Akhtar and Showkat s/o Aslam.
According to police the detainees have confessed the crime and the knives they used to kill the duo was also recovered.
TNS has learned from local sources that it was a feud of the rejection of marriage proposal that led the murder of the girl along with her mother.
Natasha’s cousin was after her for a long time using tactics to compel her to marry him but they always refused and turned down the proposals for him being unemployed and a rogue person. Locals said and added that apart from cousins the son of a female domestic servant of the slain duo was also involved in the gruesome act.
