LAHORE Jan 15 (TNS): The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has announced to participate in the anti-government movement being launched by the opposition parties from January 17.
Addressing a press conference at PPP Provincial Secretariat on Sunday, he said that they are going to get justice for the affectees of the Model Town tragedy and would extend the scope of the protest if need arises.
He asked the workers to be ready to participate in the movement. “We will bring the culprits to justice in the light of the Justice Baqar Najafi report,” he added.
The PPP leader said that his party believes in adherence to law and the constitution. “We have right to peaceful protest and hope the government will not use force,” he added.
