PESHAWAR Jan 17 (TNS): Federal government is spending over five billion rupees on the improvement of electricity system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A spokesman of PESCO told that the government has initiated work on one hundred and fifty-one electricity projects in the province out of which fifty-five have been completed.
These projects include laying of new transmission lines, repair of transformers and up-gradation of different grid stations.
Similarly, work on the construction of two hundred and twenty KV grid stations in Charsadda, Mansehra and Dera Ismail Khan is also in progress.
