Srinagar, Jan 17 (TNS): Authorities in Indian held Kashmir said a warning has been issued for an avalanche in avalanche prone areas of Anantnag, Kulgam, Budgam, Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora and Ganderbal districts in occupied valley.
The warning is valid from 5pm January 17 to 5 pm January 18.
The concerned deputy commissioners have been asked to take all precautionary measures necessary to avert any untoward incident.
The general public too has been advised to not venture in the said areas during the period of the alert.
