ISLAMABAD Jan 18 (TNS): All power Distribution Companies have established special Constraint Removal War Rooms to enforce zero load-shedding on feeders upto ten percent losses throughout the country by the end of March this year.
PEPCO has also established special monitoring cell headed by Chief Engineer to execute the constraints removal by the DISCOs.
These directives were given by Minister for Power Awais Ahmad Leghari in a special meeting with all concerned in Islamabad on Thursday.
The DISCOs were directed to equip the Constraint Removal War Rooms with CCTV cameras connected with centralized monitoring system for continued monitoring by the Minister himself.
The Minister reiterated the resolve of the Government that after meeting the demand and supply gap, it is much important that the consumers get the electricity supply with no interruptions during coming summer.
