PML-N govt has fulfilled its commitments: PM Abbasi

Faisalabad, Jan. 20 (TNS): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says the PML-N government has fulfilled its promises made with the people.

He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of International Airport extension project, in Faisalabad today (Saturday).

The Prime Minister said the extension project has been completed at a cost of one a half billion rupees with in stipulated time.

He said it will not only play an important role in boosting economic activities but also create more job opportunities.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said 118 flights operate from the airport weekly and directed Civil Aviation Authority to make planning for further extension of the airport.

He said Aviation is the backbone of modern economy, hoping that the Civil Aviation will play a leading role in industrial development of the country.

The Prime Minister said airport extension projects are also being completed in every province.

He said the present government has completed eighteen hundred kilometers long Motorways to integrate almost all parts of the country through a network of motor ways.

Meanwhile, addressing a Health Cards under PM Health Programme among deserving people in Bhakkar today (Saturday), the Prime Minister said the PML-N always speaks about connecting the provinces instead of dividing them.

He said the present government completed many energy projects during the last five years to overcome the energy crisis.

He said gas facility will also be provided to every city of the country.

The Prime Minister said despite sit-ins and obstacles by the opposition, the government has never stopped the development works.

He said those who curse the parliament actually want to create anarchy and stop development of the country.

Addressing the ceremony, Health Minister Saira Afzal Tarar said under the PM Health Programme free treatment facility will be provided for seven infectious diseases.
