T.M activists leave Indian forces red faced after breaking their cordon in Srinagar

SRINAGAR, 21 Jan (TNS): Indian occupational forces on Saturday where left red faced when a small group of Tehreek ul Mujahiddeen activists gave them a slip by managing to break the cordon on the outskirts of Srinagar.

Hundreds of forces personnel laid siege of Ontabawan area last night after receiving information about presence of Mujahiddeen in the area.

According to the local sources the group of Tehreek ul Mujahiddeen led by District Commander Khalid Dawood fired at the forces party compelling them to hide and run for their lives.

At least three Indian soldiers are being said to be wounded in the counter attack by T.M mujahidden who, after making Indian forces to be caught in surprise managed to escape under the cover of darkness.

This is for the second time in last 10 days that militants slipped out the cordon in Srinagar. On January 13, two militants gave slip to security forces in Lal Bazar area. (Agencies)
