Various development schemes completed in Tharparkar

KARACHI Jan. 22 (TNS):  The Sindh government has spent fifteen billion rupees for providing basic necessities of life to the people of Tharparkar district.

A spokesman of Sindh government Muhammd Asad told that the development schemes completed in the district are related to health, water, education, electrification, roads and building infrastructure.

Giving details, he said that seven hundred and fifty small water plants have been setup with the capacity of seven thousand gallons each for providing potable drinking water in a number of villages at a cost of seven and half billion rupees.

Referring to the health sector the spokesman said that hospitals at Mitthi, Islamkot and Chachro have been upgraded where hundred and fifty doctors have been recruited for providing quality health services to the people.
