Islamabad, Jan. 22 (TNS): Pakistani-Canadian comedian Zaid Ali upset over racist remarks over skin color of his wife.
Zaid Ali tied the knot last year and is clearly head over heels for his significant other.
Recently, the couple announced that they are on their first trip to Pakistan together. Taking to Twitter, Zaid posted a picture with his wife and captioned it, “First time in Pakistan together.”
But a Pakistan twitter handle criticize his wife saying that: “bhabhi k hathon or chehre me frq dekh k mre zhn me to yei ara, O lagdi Lahore di aa”.
Zaid took to Twitter to give a befitting reply, and wrote, “Read a comment today on my photo which said ‘Your wife is ugly because of her dark skin’. It’s so upsetting how most Pakistanis can’t even embrace their own skin colour.”
And people lauded his no-holds-barred stance.
